Just wanted to share my experience with the snuza. As a TTM, I will admit that I thought movement monitors were overkill even though I've always been anxious and checking to see if baby is breathing during the night. This LO gave us a scare in the hospital- where we had to prod her awake and even called the nurse! Also, her breathing is very shallow and quiet. Just makes me nervous all the time.
First I bought an angel care monitor off CL. Worked perfectly and definitely gave me peace of mind. Only complaint was that we kept setting off the alarm when we picked her up and forgot to push hold first. Then, about a week later, she refused to sleep in her bassinet anymore. She needed the cozy feel of the RNP. Now I know flat on their back is best but it was not happening and we ended up sleeping with her on us which is worse IMO. So now the monitor was going to waste and I was back to being anxious all night. Even more so b/c I knew the RNP was a no no!
So I had a GC for BRU and ordered the snuza Oma. It's awesome y'all! Small little thing that clips onto her diaper. Easy to turn on/off. I tested it and man it's loud. We can use it in the RNP or bouncy or swing, not just the crib. When she moves to her room, we already have a video monitor in there so this will be perfect. So if you are on the fence, get it! Im sleeping more soundly now with that extra peace of mind!

On a side note, why is rnp a nono? It's the only place ds will sleep at night.
