BF is so cute. Yes, LO will fall back asleep 90% of the time if you put her binky back in her mouth, but that doesn't mean that it will work all the time. She kept spitting it out and fussing at 2 a.m. and he was getting increasingly frustrated until I told him to pick her up and walk around, rocking her.
Imagine his surprise when it worked. REALLY.
But her did teach her to shake her head at "cheerios" yesterday. When he says "puffs", no reaction. "cheerios"? Big shake. No point to this (except for possibly more cheerios for me...)
Ohhhh hey! Wassup everybody! Riley's asleep in her crib and I'm gonna shower. For reals, my kid naps in her crib on the weekends. I can do stuffs!
Life's been crazy for me. We sold the condo in a week! We settle on 4/10 and we are renting back until 6/30. We bought the new construction house which is amazing. The past two weeks we've been picking all the design elements which has been fun....and expensive.
Maybe stupid question: we haven't given Ros puffs (we do BLW and I don't see the point of buying special baby food, just seems more $$) but I hear mentions of Cheerios. Would some Cheerios (plain obviously) be a good way to let Ros practice her pincher grip, then?
I wasn't really sure what to give if not puffs but I guess Cheeios are probably the obvious choice?
My birthday is on Thursday and DH hasn't asked me what I want yet. Which means he's either waiting until last minute or he's winging it. He didn't ask me what I wanted for Christmas either and I got a breakfast sandwich maker... 8-|

These Gerber Graduates might as well be spam for babies. They're SO SALTY (yes, yelling) and are basically junk food. DD likes the apple cinnamon variety but rejected these (good).
I bought these and I call them baby crack. Ty shoves them in his mouth so fast it's ridiculous.
I has a dream I had another baby last night and I was NOT happy about it because Si was still the age he is now. Baby fever is sooo not here yet.

Is a dish cooked with coconut milk ok to feed LO? I have a delicious chicken, butternut squash, and spinach cooked in coconut milk (Filipino dish) that I'm sure LO would love but not sure if it's ok to give her. Thoughts?

I think it's fine. I've never heard anything about avoiding coconut milk unless you have a history of allergies to those big brown nuts.

Silas has started saying "yaaaay" with me whenever we're celebrating one of his achievements. So freaking adorable.

Brynne decided 5:30 would be the perfect time to have the most ginormous poopsplosion known to man in her crib and then ROLL AROUND IN IT. There is poop EVERYWHERE.
Oh man!
@livvyx : Abby used to eat those but you are right about the salt!
I'm would be SOL without the happy baby brand. Their puffs rock! GDS free FTW!
I never read a food label before this. I just ate good food. My mind has been blown by all the things that go into food. For example, the Fred Meyer (Kroger) Chicken that is hot and cooked. The regular one has probably 15 ingredients. The natural or organic one, has three. All of which I can pronounce. I kind of miss being oblivious to all of this.
because it didn't fucking snow enough for me to build my own

Riley is being an over tired turd today. These nap fighting days suck. She even woke up right when I was getting in the shower. DH took her. She better take a nap after Gymboree!
We use these. Crack factor without the salt. She wiggles all over the place when we get out the container. We aren't using them for nutrition - just an easy snack that will keep her little hands busy for a while. She still smiles everytime she crunches.
Im glad Leah likes those. I just bought the apple/spinach ones for Eva. But I'm waiting to give Eva apples for 3 days before I give her those to make sure she isn't allergic to apples. I imagine its just flavoring but still. I'm scared!
Re: Spam is bacon for nitrate-loving poor people
Unfortunately he's so big now that when he does it inside it sounds like he's dropping TVs off the top bunk.
ETA: but not as upset as I am to be awake right now.
Done. X(
I held George for an hour nap and had to get ready for work. Figured I'd try layng him in his crib. Still sleeping 15 mins later!
My DH says this all. The. Time. I never knew what it was from. I wonder if he even does.
Where can I start sending spam to poors?
