Baby dreams

TTC and I keep having the same baby dream over and over. The dream is I take a pregnancy test, it's positive then shortly after I find out the baby is a boy. Wondering if any one else has had these types of dreams and if it has been a predictor of the sex of baby? Or do I just have a bad case of baby fever?? I don't care about sex of a baby my husband and I just want a healthy one I just think it's strange I always dream about having a boy.

I had all types of dreams before becoming pregnant, including one where I was pregnant with a dog (that looked just like my real dog.)

I wouldn't give the dreams any weight though. It's fun to speculate though I suppose.

I had all sorts of dreams of being pregnant, giving birth, and nursing, but I've never once been pregnant. Sometimes we just dream about things that are on our minds, and it doesn't mean a damn thing.

I've dreamt many time of positive pregnancy tests, having a baby bump, giving birth, nursing, etc., and I have never been pregnant. I'm sure you're dreaming about it simply because it's on your mind.

When I was pregnant, but before I knew if we were having a boy or girl, I'd have dreams about which we would have. For some reason I really thought we'd have a boy and I kept dreaming about having a baby boy--but I could never see his face in my dream (or at least I can't remember what he looked like).
Then one night I had a dream about having a girl and I can still remember and visualize taking her out of the crib in my dream and seeing her face. it just seemed more real. Found out shortly after that we were pregnant with DD.

I'm sure it was just coincidence, but still seemed kind of special

I agree with PPs. I had a BFP dream, I had an L&D dream where I wanted an epi but had to wait and it sucked, and I have a recurring dream (in various settings) that I have two older kids (boy and girl, like 4th and 2nd grade ish) and I'm nursing a baby (gender changes). My husband and I have been trying for over a year for #1 but we want 3 so I chalk it up to that pesky baby fever.

my DH thinks I'm crazy but I think there can be something to dreams.....I had a dream I took a pregnancy test and it was + a few days before I found out I was pregnant...then a few months later had a very vivid dream I was holding a little boys hand and walking and talking w/ him...I was convinced btw I was having a girl, but soon afterwards I found out it was a boy....maybe it was a coincidence but I am not sure!

With my first pregnancy I had a dream I could squirt milk from my boobs, and I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. That happened before I I had a positive test.

2 weeks ago I had similar dreams but like everyone stated above, it was only bc it was heavy on my mind!

Same here. Had dreams I was positive for pregnancy test but didn't happen. I think it is our subconscious mind sometimes that creates the dream.

I had a dream last night that I was pregnant, and the baby just popped out (because labor is that easy, right?), but then I didn't know how to change its diaper so I decided to practice on my dog. The perfectly logical thing to do of course. Also, every time I tried to breastfeed, the baby started snoring.

I'm still on the pill, so definitely no BFP; I think I just have baby fever and my husband was probably snoring next to me! ;-)
