How many times has your LO been sick?
What is your childcare arrangement? DC, nanny, other family member, or you and/or Your SO?
We had to pick up A from daycare this afternoon. He has pink eye and his fourth cold since I went back to work less than 2 months ago.
I know babies catch everything and they come down with a lot of illnesses their first year. I'm just wondering if this is excessive and feeling like my poor little guy really needs a break.

Re: Sick babies
I hope everyone's baby's get to feeling better very fast!
My coworkers' kids who go to daycare are always sick.
So far he has not caught much but I think it is because he is not in daycare and we just started putting him in the nursery at church last week. 95% of the time DD gets sick is because she caught it from a kid at church so I am sure the same will happen for DS.
That fucking stomach virus was the worst. We stayed home with him for 3 days, until his poop was solid again. But his bowels didn't fully recover until this week, making the whole ordeal two weeks long. Not to mention the raw-skin diaper rash. A combo of bag balm + extra strength butt paste (and probiotics to ease up the pooping) finally cleared things up.
God sorry, I'm still pissed about that stomach virus. /rant
What seems to help to some degree is putting the humidifier right at the edge of his crib so he's directly under it. We put a few drops of peppermint oil in with the water. On nights when he's been terribly congested I have let him sleep in the carseat so he was elevated. I slept right next to him to make sure he was okay.
I hope all the babies are feeling better soon.
I am so tempted to pull him from daycare and hire a nanny. But he does really seem to love his teachers. And my Mom assured me that if he doesn't get exposed to all the germs now, he'll get sick just as frequently later on when he is in a pre-school setting.
That's horrible the little guy in her class is so sick all the time. How can his Mom just not answer their calls? I can't imagine!
@katie.725 I'm glad Isaac is better. Chicken pox in an infant room is scary stuff.
