Transition out of RnP (to crib)

STM's, how did this go? When is a good time to do it? I'm worried that I should be trying harder to transition LO to the crib before he gets too used to the RnP, but he likes it! He's never napped longer than 20 minutes in the crib, and I'm enjoying the precious little sleep I can get now...

    Only transitioning from my chest to pnp haha she won't sleep on her back and i'm so nervous to sleep her anh other way

    This gives me major anxiety!! I am so worried about transitioning from bassinet in our room to the crib.

    Ha...our transition was not easy. We didn't transition out of it until 6 months, and it was so awful. I've heard others also say it was terrible, and then others not have a problem, so I think it just depends.

    We want to have #2 sleep flat a little more, but who knows what she will think of that! I'm sure we will end up playing it by ear.

    #1 sleeps great now, so no lasting damage! I say go with whatever works when they are tiny!

    FTM here, but my theory is to start putting them down for naps in the crib. That way it's not so much of a transition. I think my only issue will be actually putting the baby down.

    Give it a try. If it doesn't work change back. I wouldn't worry about it this early as I would be more concerned about myself getting as much sleep as possible over doing a transition. If a night doesn't go well, try naps then give a night time sleep another try down the road. Mine sleeps in the swig at night then in the bassinet for naps at this point. I'm not in a huge hurry to switch him to his crib as he is sleeping great right now in the swing. I'm not going to mess up a good thing for no reason!
