  I feel like if I told you our whole birth story I could be in contention for most nerve-wracking. I don't know if I mentioned but the lead up to getting to the hospital was super dramatic. We were in the middle of a crazy ice storm with tress falling everywhere. They actually shutdown the highway soon after we left. At one point I went to drop my daughter at my mom's house so I could meet my husband and leave. A huge branch fell right in front of me and blocked the road. I had to get out while having contractions and pick up this branch so I could keep driving. It was like a scene out of a movie. It took us so long to get out of town trying to get around downed power lines, trees and closed roads. We actually didn't have power the entire time we were in the hospital.

  Yup. 12 days past due. Had to be induced and even then Mia took her sweet time. I sincerely hope no one beats this record
