No Newborn Outfits for Tyler (hjw101 birth story)

I was scheduled for a c section on March 19th due to lo being in breech position. However he had other plans. On Monday the 17th I go up and ready for work and on my way out the door my water broke. My husband always said he wanted that surprise rush to the hospital so I woke him up and got dd dressed and off to the sitter. We called ahead to the hospital to let them know we were on our way.

We got to the hospital at 7:30 and I was dilated to a 6 with contractions coming every 4/5 min. They had a section going in at 8 so we had to wait. Waiting was the worst part because they had to wait for me to get into the OR to give me the spinal. I got in around 8:45 and Tyler James was born at 9:26 am. He weighted in at 10lbs. 10oz. and 21 inches long. I was able to nurse and do skin to skin about 45 min later in recovery. Everything went great however they had to get size 1 diapers and none of the newborn outfits fit him. He is our little chunker and we love him.
