No teeth here. But a question for those that have gotten them...is it fairly easy to see the teeth before they pop through? LO has not been herself and showing the normal characteristics of teething but I have such a hard time looking in her mouth and feeling her gums (she's too wiggly).
Both came in within a week of each other a little after she turned 5 months. She was moderately fussy, with two nighttime wake ups as opposed to her normal one nighttime wake up. It was her bottom two teeth. My oldest daughter was the same way when her bottom teeth came in, but was much worse when her top teeth and molars came in.

No, I don't know that the teeth are coming in until it has popped through and I can feel the ridges on her gums. I always look back and say to myself I should have known she or my other daughter for instance, are teething because of their behavior
LO has her 2 bottom teeth. They came in about 4 months. She was very cranky! And I couldn't see or feel anything until the day before they broke the surface.
E is in the process of getting his first teeth! I noticed two darker red spots on his bottom gums Monday night when he was biting on something and did a startled "ouch, that hurt!" kind of cry. Tuesday morning I could feel two teeth. This morning one is sticking out a little and the other is on it's way up!
I'm hoping this explains the horrible sleep we had over the weekend. He went to bed like a champ last night, slept all night and took a two hour nap this morning. Hopefully now that they've broken through the gums they aren't so sore.
The bottom right tooth just came through. She'll be 6 months next Friday. She was generally pretty cranky and still is... I think the bottom left is on it's way. The pp's description of white knuckles is accurate!
LO has both bottom teeth. They came through at around 4.5 months. No symptoms at all, he wasn't cranky, no drooling, they just suddenly appeared together one day. Right now, he's a cranky drooling machine who is chewing on EVERYTHING (including my face). I see one white spot on the top, so I'm hoping that tooth pops through soon.
Two bottom teeth here. Both came in this week. She has been a cranky mess! The pedi could see her top two pushing out a bit the other day. I am not looking forward to that. She seems to be taking it harder than DS did - or maybe I just forget.
Two bottom teeth at 3 months and she's just popped her two top teeth 2 weeks ago at 5 1/2 months. The next set look like they're ready to go too. The first set of teeth she was super fussy for but not the second set. She does have a teething rash (at least that's what I think it is) this time though.
LO's 2 bottom 2 teeth came in just before he turned 5 months. I did not feel or see them until they popped through. He was not fussy, just played around with his tongue a little more.
No teeth yet, she'll be 7 months on the 31st. So much drooling though and i think i can feel something on her gums. She's putting everything in her mouth. For those babies that got teeth, did your babies also have more mucus at that point? I heard that can happen but didn't know if it's just her cold or not. She's been more cranky today so I'm thinking it's close. Either that or she's getting another cold.
None yet but he has been super fussy and wanting to chew on everything. I found a Mickey Mouse teether at BRU that has a terry cloth sack you can put ice in and it has been working wonders.
No teeth yet. But like many others she is fussy, has LOTS of drool (like soaking several bibs a day), and chews on anything she can get near her mouth. I've been thinking for a month now these darn things are going to pop through but nothing yet. She will be 7 months Tuesday.
His first tooth popped through on his 6th month birthday. He has a second one coming in now (his bottom front teeth). He has been super drooly and cranky at bedtime. He also developed a bad yeast rash under his chin.
She has 2 on the bottom. They came thru around a couple of weeks ago so just before she turned 6 months. She is typically a good sleeper, a couple of nights before they broke thru she was crying in her sleep several times. Not enough to wake her just me.
Re: First Teeth
But DDs bottom two teeth pushed through overnight and she seems so much less fussy!
