T&P's needed please

Two weeks ago my grandpa fractured 7 ribs and his clavicle. Well tonight we received a call from the hospital that he is refusing anymore treatment. They gave him the phone and let my mom and I talk to him. It was so hard to hear him and it didn't even sound like him. I told him I loved him and He told me he loved me back ... It's probably my final goodbye to my grandpa although I pray that it's not. My mom is catching a flight out to AZ at 7 am. I pray she makes it intime to be with him in case he does pass. Please pray for my grandpa, me and my family as this is probably one of the hardest times in my life since I have always been so close to my grandpa. My husband is also leaving for Germany on Sunday life is going to suck this week till he is back on Thursday.

T's & P's! DH's g-pa fell last fall and cracked 5 ribs. He's fully recovered now, so I pray it's not as bad as it seems and changes his mind about receiving treatment.

He's been poked and proded so much that he just wants to be made comfortable. And yes it's from the motorcycle accident.

@hercules03‌ he also like your grandma has been on and off a ventilator. Talking was very difficult for him. It's breaking my heart, I love him so much.

I just lost my grandmother who was like a second mom to me. I couldn't be there either but I have a suggestion.
Try making a video in the phone quick. I did this and my family played it for her and it made her smile one last time. It gave me a little more peace from being so frustrated stuck here

I'm sorry, thoughts and prayers seekers you and your grandpa. I know how hard it is to just speak on the phone and not be near them, my grandparents were in Canada, it's tough been so far. Thinking of you guys.

I'm sorry. I hope they can make him comfortable

hopefully there's something they can do to help him heal. We had a resident at our assisted living facility last spring break his ankle and it pretty much played to this scenario. I'm sorry you have to go through this.
