Post Partum = sweaty feet?

Gross. Anyone else get this post partum? I also can't seem to regulate my body temp overnight. I get so hot and then I'm freezing a couple hours later.

Post partum=sweaty everything.

Sometimes I sleep on a towel. Then I crank up the electric blanket.

I'm on a towel in a sweatshirt. Night sweats + chills.

Ps- chills were only bad because of fever/mastitis.

So the plus side is the puffiness (and weight) will go down! The down side is that she said to expect to continue sweating if you're breast feeding bc boobs that make milk make heat!

This. I had a week of awful night sweats and chills, but after it subsided most of my swelling was gone and my feet were back to normal after four months of sausage status. I lost a ton of weight that week too.

Huh! I guess that makes a lot of sense! I'm so glad to hear the explanation. I'm ready to not be wrestling a baby in the middle of the night onto a tricky inverted nipple while also wanting to pass out from overheating and sweating profusely.
