Bottles for BF babies (XP Feb 14)

Ok working moms - DD1 never had a problem going back and forth, but she was introduced to bottles early. DD2 is really struggling. I've tried to do at least a bottle a week since 3 weeks but the last three times we have tried it just hasn't worked at all. I know part of the problem is that I need to leave and let someone else do it, but I'm wondering what brands of bottles worked for you guys. So far we've tried Tommee Tippee (the only ones we've had a little success with), Avent, and the little Medela nipples with a Meldela bottles. Any advice is appreciated! TIA!

we had luck with both medela and avent, but i know people like dr. browns and born free as well. you are right tho---you might be the problem..not the bottle!

My daughter fought every bottle she ever took (with or without me around, even at daycare) until we dropped them around 11 months. The only ones we got her to eat at all from were the Lasinoh mOmma bottles:

we used tommee tippee bottles as well. but as you and PPs have said, get out of the area and have someone else give your LO the bottle.

DD completely refused bottles until we got the Lansinoh mOmma ones.

TT for us. DD will only take a bottle if it's really warm. Daycare is always telling me that she needs the breast milk warmer than most babies. Maybe try that?

DD2 refused bottles forever. What finally worked... I had to literally leave town, DH had to make the bottles very very warm and use latex nipples. The temp thing was the biggest factor. If it was even slightly cooler than her preference she would refuse it.

DD#1 was a great drinker...she took any and all bottles from the get go. DD2 will be two months tomorrow. I went back to work last week. We started her on a bottle a day five weeks ago. I did have to leave the house for her to take it at first. She'd only take an ounce or two the first few days as well. Give your LO time. Could you give her a bottle every day or two instead if once a week? (Also giving her a bottle at the same time each day helped my LO) Dr Brown's bottles worked best for us. Also, DD uses priemi nipples. Getting her these made a huge difference.
