Round ligament pain

Is anyone having an issue with this? I'm 18 weeks pregnant and for the last two days I had this stabbing pain in my lower right abdomen. I couldn't take it anymore this morning and went to my doctor. the checked everything and my baby boy is big and healthy. They told me it is round ligament pain and basically you just have to deal with it or take Tylenol. The Tylenol dulls it to cramping but then the stabbing pain is back. Just took a hot shower looking for relief. I also ordered a belly band for extra support per my doctors recommendation. Is anyone dealing with this and found some relief?

FYI- standing offers the most relief temporarily. I can lay on my sides or back without the stabbing coming back.

My round ligament pain has been bad these past 4 days! I must have pulled a uterus at the gym! :-p Anyone else having this?! (My back us also hurting too- I'm a creaky pregnant woman now!)

OP, make sure when you're laying down you have a pillow wedged under your belly to give it support.

I searched for a thread that talked about Round Ligament Pain, because I didn't want to start a new one because I know I had read one about it already! This was what I found so I posted here!

Don't tell me I did it wrong! I may have to give up if that's the case!!
