My atty emailed me and said she called his atty. She said his atty is pushy.

You mean ManChild has a pushy atty? ManChild is a pushy asshole. I figured as much by the trash in the documents I've been given but ahahahahahahahah. This makes me laugh and want to pee my pants. I'm like uhhh does he realize his client has had ZERO contact with his daughter since birth BY CHOICE? Does he realize his client said he doesn't want to be a part of his child's life if he doesn't get his way?

I can't believe his atty is actually letting him send half of the documents he's sent you, tbh. Does your ex even know how non existent the chances that he will get any of his demands? Or is he actually that stupid?

HAHA. He really is that stupid. His comments to me of "I am the law" over the years, make that very clear. I had to re-read the draft agreement he put forward again today to go through with a fine tooth comb and tell my atty what I wanted. I didn't realize he wanted her for THREE weeks four times a year. I thought it was two, which was still unreal to me. My mom says I told her this before so maybe I mentioned that here and just forgot it was three, but wow. So I'd see my child one week during the each of the four months he chose to take her? WTF? He also had that he got her every summer, all summer and every spring break including every easter. WHAT THE EVER LOVING FUCK OF ALL FUCKS? So I would never get to spend an Easter with my daughter!?!?! YEAH RIGHT! I mean total insanity. I wonder if he came up with this or his atty or them both. I mean what kind of dumbassness is that!?!?

Anyway, I went through it today and sent my ideas and thoughts to her on what I wanted. I know some of you mentioned that you have a clause about not bringing people you are dating around. What are the specifics of that? I forgot how you all had worded it.

Bad news is I am going to have to probably make an effort while in FL for him to see her. Freaking sucks and I thought that him not coming here at all would make him look like enough of a shit bag but apparently not. I'm worried that him seeing her will make him fight me all the more

None the less, my atty said by not letting him know/giving him the chance...it could backfire on me. She gave me the reasoning the court uses and all that. I wanna say the reasonable person standard or something. SMH. Here's to sort of hoping he just won't see her around my family again and chooses not to.

Oh and @Mrs.Tbc - Yes. I was just saying this to my mom tonight. NO WAY does his atty know about the prior abuse. No way does he know the last time we were together I had to call the police to have him removed. No way does he know that he was discharged due to SEVERE PTSD. No way does he know any of this stuff. He probably doesn't even know he's made no effort to see her. He's probably told his atty I wouldn't let him. Classic.

What hurts/irks me the most is I am SUCH an honest person. Like seriously. I'm not just saying that bc everyone wants to be presumed as honest. I really am and nothing pisses me off more than when others tell lies about me. I can just guarantee he is.

How can a man who has no children? not sure about that part but at least who has never met your child expect to be handed over a little baby for an entire week? Who will watch her when he is working? These men don't want the challenge of taking care of kids for a long period of time. Anyone can do our job for 1 or 2 days - but by the 3rd, 4th, and 5th - whole different ball game.

He doesn't work. Disabled retired vet so he gets a salary +++ for the rest of his life. He has MS & PTSD.

A lot of ppl are saying yeah this sounds cute and fun now but ACTUALLY TAKING CARE OF HER for that extended period is a joke. He can't handle it.

Whatever. Why am I surprised the man who always shits on me is doing the same thing now?

If he has a history of PTSD and violence I'm wondering if he would even be allowed to be around her unsupervised? Yeah I think it does sound cute and wonderful now until he sees how difficult taking care of a baby actually is...and that's what would worry me with his history.

Oh yeah, when DD was born, I was like "ok, she's going to need a diaper, that's a simple task" and it's not as simple as you think, especially when she decides "oh, diaper is open? Great time to take a shit! And pee!" Thank god she's a girl!

And when I thought feeding her wouldn't be a big deal... yeah... he's going to be up for a rude awakening. Nothing about babies is simple. They're cute as fuck, but taking care of them is a whole other story. What's he going to do when its time to change her? If he's the only one looking after her, he can't pass her off like "she's dirty" like most men.

Yeah I worry about his tolerence level when she is wailing and stuff hence why I ask for the first year for visits to be with me and short. I wanted supervised and they said since the violence was towards me and years ago that it basically didn't count...long story short.

In his defense he prob is a "good" dad candidate in that he helped raise his two neices so he's been there done that a little. Nothing compared to raising your own I know but at least he isn't clueless, hasn't changed a diaper, hasnt disciplined, etc. He's great with them (prob better than their mother) but they are older now. Much easier. An infant is different. I put in my counter offer no overnights basically until 3 so we will see.
