TL;dr
Labor is going very slowly; 35 hours in of close contractions after 2 days of lighter ones. If baby Sophie doesn't debut by Monday, they'll induce. T&P for @CHalePhoto and her cervix

My latest update - Labor hasn't stopped or progressed at all since 4am, (painful and every 3 minutes apart) and I've been having regular contractions for over 30 hours now.
The morphine helped me sleep this afternoon but made me very sick this evening. Kind of a win-lose situation. I called my midwife about an hour ago. She said that my only options at this point are induction, shots of morphine every 12 hours to help with the pain, or trying to take Ambien and sleep through the pain tonight. But the hospital only does inductions Monday-Thursday morning, and I don't want to take morphine again because it made me so sick. I'm going to try the Ambien and hope labor progresses by morning. If I can't sleep we'll probably head back to the hospital for another shot, even though I really don't want to. If labor continues to be stalled they will induce me on Monday.
My midwife seemed to think this might continue through the weekend.
