Addie has been struggling during feedings (spitting up and soaking the bib with formula, pulling back, arching her back, screaming, etc). I began mentioning this to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and this past week the doctor asked me to collect a stool sample. Today they tested the stool and it turns out that she had invisible blood in it which indicates a milk protein allergy. The doctor said to switch to soy formula for the next couple of weeks and then they will test her stool again to see if she is also allergic to soy. I am not a fan of soy considering much if not all soy is a GMO, so I began researching soy formulas and have found a lot of negative information (

Re: Soy Formula
If you want truly non-soy, non-milk formula, you'll need something like enfamil's nutramigen or similac's alimentium. They are hypoallergenic.
ETA: while @keags5496 said it helped her LO, it didn't help mine one bit and made her situation worse than when she had BM.
