OT- Anniversary Gift?!!

So, DH and I got secretly married 4 months before our wedding date. We decided we'd celebrate both. I'm racking my brain on what to get him. What's appropriate for your 1st wedding anniversary? I was thinking like an overnight trip maybe to a b & b winery? But that's not "gifty." I have it in my head, for whatever dumb reason, it needs to be tangible. Chime in! I'm horrible at this!
Me: 38     DH: 36
Married: July 21, 2013
TTC#1 (between us): June/July 2013

DX: MFI (low count and motility)
Charting/OPK/CBFM July 2013-present
1st RE Visit: January 2014
Cycling: 
March 2014- 75iu follistim + trigger + progesterone + IUI = BFN and OHSS
(8 million post wash 47% motility, 18mm/17mm/16mm/16mm/14mm follies)
April/May 2014- Benched due to cysts/enlarged ovaries
June 2014- 50iu follistim + trigger + progesterone + IUI = BFP!!
(10 million post wash 60% motility, 20mm/19mm follies)
Beta 1- 85 Beta 2- 2,752 - EDD 2/27/2015

    That's a brilliant idea. I got tickets to the Chargers game for Christmas one year. With a losing season every year, they are EASY to get! Ha! I thought about tickets to Universal Studio in LA, but thought it sounded awful. But it IS paper....

    Paper is the gift, I got my husband, an engraved wallet from things remembered , (paper money goes in it-it was a stretch) then I made him a book, I also got us tickets to see a show in Vegas, that's where we went for our 1 year

    For our first anniversary, paper, we bought tickets to something (I can't for the life of me remember what, I think plane tickets to fly to San Diego)
    For our second anniversary, clocks, we gave each other the gift of time by spending the day going to Sea world, a movie, and dinner.

    We always try to have an experience instead of a gift. For Valentine's day, we have done a Renaissance fair and Disneyland.

    For birthdays, we've done a resort in Carlsbad in California on the beach, a cruise to the Caribbean, and travels to Seattle or San Diego or Phoenix, etc.

    DH and I just went on a weekend trip to Cleveland (weird choice, I know) for our 1 year, although in retrospect I guess we did follow the paper rule because we went to a Bills vs Browns game.

    One of my best friends writes a crafting blog and she has given her husband some seriously cute gifts for their anniversaries...they're pretty cheesy, but if your H is a sentimental kind of guy, it might be a nice add on to another gift. 

    **Warning** She recently went through IVF (and wrote a kick-ass post about her experience) so there are bump and baby pictures all over her blog...don't stray from these links if you don't want to see that today***

    September-November 2014: IUIs #2-4 - Gonal F + Ovidrel: BFN
    January 2015: IVF #1
