For better: I accomplished a lot today, took all 3 kids to the pediatrician, babies r us, the park (NIP for this first time with my cover) and Costco! I needed a second cup of coffee by the time we got home though, lol.
For worse: I was relaxing with LO on my chest the other day while bumping on my phone, I dropped it on his head and he cried for a minute in his sleep. I felt so awful, but I must admit his little bottom lip out sad crying face is the cutest thing.
For better: I returned some of LO's superfluous newborn clothes she never got to wear. For worse:I don't have a bottle cooler so when we went out to our New Mommy group today over mealtime I had to improvise. A Crown Royal bag with an ice pack in it.
The good: Both kids are alive and my house is still standing after DH's week long business trip.
The bad: I forgot to put up the bar on DS1s bed and of course he fell out. Luckily he wasn't too phased...his foment through tears was "I don't really know what happened, but I just want to sleep right now. "
Love the link. My mom also sacrificed her "me time" and husband time to make dinners, work full time, clean house etc. It makes me feel less than bc I always have laundry/dishes that need to be done and my house always needs to be picked up (4 year old toy piles) but DH and I make time for each other and friends. For worse: is it pee or breast milk? We'll never know.
