Welcome to the October Check-In. This check-in is for anyone who has had a loss with an EDD in October.
If you get a BFP, please PM me so we can congratulate you!
I will be away next week, so I won't be posting the check-in next week. If anyone feels like posting, feel free, otherwise I will post a check-in when I get back the middle of the following week!

My mom gardens and we recently moved out to family land, so I help when I'm able. I'm not physically able right now, so I haven't been involved in the prep. We have extended the garden this year and hope to have better luck with our corn. We have collard greens the size of small trees and a bumper crop of green onions.
Mom recently got in asparagus roots, so we will plant those if they aren't already.

Hi ladies.
@LaRomana09 - Thanks for running the check-in! And I hope you are off having fun next week!
@Lismill313 - Welcome to the check-in. I am so sorry for your loss. ((Hugs))
@RedTwizzlers - Yay for being done with tests! That is awesome (and what a relief)! Boo for BFN. Hopefully better luck tomorrow. Celebrate and relax!
@AggieBeth06 - Welcome to the check-in. I am so sorry for your loss and that you are joining us here. ((Hugs))
My update: DH and I are doing better. We talked just last night and he realized how distracted by work he has been lately, and that he hasn't been checking in with me as much as usual. That was nice. I have been very emotional lately and cried almost every night this week, so it was nice to sit down and talk and cry together.
Other than that, we are doing pretty good. Talking about possibly house hunting in the near future, which is really exciting! Trying to be positive and think about our family's future, instead of just sitting around wallowing in sadness.
QOTW - I am not at all a gardener! Much to my MIL chagrin - she loves to garden and only eats organic and is horrified that we could care less.
I'll have to PIP my mom's collards.
We also have berry bushes (blue, black, rasp), squash, carrots, purple hull peas and green beans.
It is very tasty.

My due date was 10/17/13, partial molar.
BFN this month but have an appt with the RE on the 28th so pretty excited about that.
I hate to garden. Truely hate it! Fortunately my inlaws love too and just show up and start working in my yard. It makes me feel very lazy.

I had my betas, but due to phone tag, I'm still waiting to hear what the numbers were. I've started spotting again, which I'm hoping means the real AF and I'm back to zero. I should find out tomorrow (FX).
Yes, DietBet is looking pretty good. I'm almost there. My gym routine got a little off this last week, along with everything else. I have been coaching cheerleading at the middle school in my town. Last week the HS school coach asked me to help out with try-outs for next season. While at practice, she informs me that they are adding another assistant coaching spot at the HS for next year and they want me to be the one. I'm really excited about it, but I'm also taking a lot on. So these last couple weeks have been nuts.
QOTW: I do flower gardens. It's still too cold here to get anything in the ground, but I can't wait until it's time. I want spring!

~*~All AL Welcome~*~
@lindesbert I really hope that this is the real AF and you get news of 0 betas tomorrow. That sounds like a great opportunity for the assistant coaching position; good for you!!
@pinksandbermuda sorry for your loss, is this your first RE appt?
@katieree331 sorry for your loss, I hope you get good news tomorrow.
@stefuge I'm glad you and YH had an opportunity to reconnect. This process is definitely hard on a couple. Sending you lots of ((hugs)).
@Lizmill313 sorry for your loss.
@AggieBeth06 your mother's garden sounds phenomenal.
@RedTwizzlers big ((hugs)). Sorry for the bfn.
But I'm so excited you are done!!! I hope you have something special planned to celebrate.
My birthday was great! I just relaxed and had dinners every night on the weekend with family and one just with mh.
I got the bw back Saturday so I started clomid that day and just finished today. I got more bw today to check my fasting glucose and iron but I am not sure what they showed at yet. I started accu again last night after a 3 month break. Work is crazy this week as were doing new software training, but the distraction is nice!
((Hugs)) to anyone needing them.

I did femara this cycle. It's my "break" before my next iui following my m/c last cycle. Doc gave it to me as a way to pass time waiting for my next period. Said if it works great. If not I am still waiting for period anyway.
I didn't have high hopes. Clomid didn't work for me and injects only in massive doses.
And lo and behold Friday there was a 12mm follie at my scan! Then Monday I had a 20 and 21mm follicle (one was hiding). We did the IUI on Tuesday as my LH was naturally surging.
I am so stunned and happy that femara seemed to work for me! Even if this cycle is a BFN, I am impressed with my response and so happy no needles!
My RE said this cycle is the best he has seen me as far as timing, follicle size and
bloodwork
