Cold medicine

I have had a cold since Sunday and the lack of sleep along with a crazy busy schedule is getting the best of me today. I could really use some decent cold medicine tonight to hopefully get a better night of sleep. Does cold medicine get out of milk similar to alcohol? DD sleeps through the night, so I'm wondering if I feed her like 2 hours after the cold medicine would 'wear off' would it be ok?

Re: Cold medicine

  • I was told to be very careful with decongestants as they can decrease your supply.

  • Oh, I forgot about the supply issue with decongestants. That's really what I need. I've tried sudafed before but it didn't help at all. I could really use mucinex d, but I'll just suck it up for another day or two and hope I'm better soon!
