Good Morning Ladies
Our surrogate got a BFP that was confirmed by a surprise blood draw yesterday (she was supposed to go in Wednesday). We are beyond thrilled and obviously terrified at the same time. I am still in shock that our transfer actually led to a pregnancy.
I want each and every one of you to know that you ladies are amazing and I honestly don't know how I would have made it to this point in my life without you. Going through what we have gone through/are going through takes a kind of strength and courage that can't be put into words and I truly admire all of you for getting up every morning and putting one foot in front of the other. Although the reason we were brought together was a crappy one, I think it's an amazing thing that we were brought together and can call each other friends, and I think we are truly luck to have met each other and are able to lean on each other for support, laughter, and just to vent about the everyday things that are so hard for someone TTCAL. I mean, where else can you openly talk about your uterus and not get side-eyed by every woman in the room?!
(End sappy "I love you all" part of the post) :X
That all being said, I need to step down as the bi-weekly wine and cheese party hostess-with-the-mostest and someone else needs to step up to take over the party planning. Currently the check-in is every other Friday and I believe that was carryover from when RAWR ran the show. I'm sure changing the date would be fine if another day is more convenient for you. Please let me know if you are interested in continuing the festivities for me!
