High-Risk Pregnancy

intro and hello

Hi ladies. I am joining you from the May 2014 bmb. I am currently 32+6 and was having a normal, uncomplicated pregnancy until yesterday. This is my first pregnancy and had preterm, prom and was transferred to a speciality hospital. I will remain here until I give birth. I am not on strict bed rest, but I can't leave the grounds but allowed short walks around. The goal is 34 weeks at the absolute minimum which will be next Saturday, but obviously hoping for longer. I am overwhelmed as this is all so new and sudden. Little about myself, I am an acute care physical therapist and my husband is a special ed teacher. We have been married almost 4 years. We are expecting a little boy who currently weighs in at 4lbs 6oz and is nameless. ..We can't decide. I look forward to learning more from this board and getting to know you ladies as well.

  • I'm so sorry you are going through this! If it makes you feel any better, when I went into preterm labor I was told 32 weeks is a HUGE milestone for baby, so even if you go into labor today your baby should be fine! :) Positive vibes sent your way...
