Sippy cup confusion.

Ds has always used a normal hard spout sippy cup but recently has taken to straw cups, which I like so much better. I've tried since he's been using a sippy cup to use a straw cup and never liked it till recently. But now that he likes straw cups, and still uses spout cups. Will he get confused or is it ok to have him use both or should we stick to strictly one kind of cup?

    It shouldn't be a problem. My DD is 14 months and used to use the spout kind, then I started giving her straws instead. If we run out of the straw ones I pull out a spout one again and she has no problems. Sometimes she tilts a  straw cup or sucks a spout cup, but the confusion only lasts for 2 seconds. They won't forget how to use either.

    My daughter was EBF and would only take the straw cup even though I tried every type possible.
