SS: DH surgery today

Hello ladies! DH is having lumbar spinal fusion today, any thoughts, prayers, good vibes or positive energy appreicated!

it's really cute, to calm his nerves he likes to rub my belly. He tells to everyone he can that he needs to get better fast for his little girl on the way. We are excited to get him on the road to recovery so we are ready for her arrival. Thanks for the Ts & Ps.

Thinking of you guys! I actually had a lumbar fusion when I was young so I can sort of relate:( best thing to do is to start walking ASAP:) hang in there!!!!

Thanks so much for the support ladies!

He went through surgery with no surprises, and tolerating things well with the morphine pump he is on now. We got him up and walked about 50 feet which they say is amazing, now has been sitting up in the chair for well over an hour. I'm quite impressed with how great he is doing! Staying in the hospital overnight tonight, should be home tomorrow afternoon.
