Thursday Appointments/US/Testing Etc.

Went back three pages and didn't see one made yet.

Anyone else out there? I go in for my (hopefully) run of the mill appointment this afternoon. After this week I could use some good news. SO is still in the hospital, and PGAL brain is being a real asshole today.

@dearfoam‌ - Yes, after we realized she was playing Candy Crush with the sound effects on we showed her how to turn them and her ringer off. She left for the day shortly after that. They took the catheter out this morning, so fingers crossed the next scans look good and he can come home. I'm back at work and am just miserable. I know there's nothing I can do, but I want to be up there with him.

I have my 16 week appointment in two hours with an OB MD at the office (I've been seeing an NP) to go over my op report from my cyst surgery a few years ago. I also get to hear baby's HB and they'll do just a general weight and BP check.

And I get to schedule my A/S at this appointment. I think that's what I'm most excited about.

Everything went wonderful today!!!! Heard baby's heartbeat for first time, I recorded it so DH could hear it since he couldn't take off work. Dr says hes going with a girl, HB was 154. Usually I wouldnt go by that BC with my first her HB was 140s through he whole pregnancy. But who knows. I would love to have another girl, they are so much fun

Amazing appointment today. I had a sonogram and baby is looking good and the doctor is 99% sure it's a boy! I got my counsyl test results back and I'm not a carrier for anything it tests for. It was a really good day

I'm celebrating with cake balls and sparking cider.

Everything went well at the appointment. The MD I met with didn't see anything that would indicate I need a C-Section and reviewed it with the surgeon. LO was being stubborn and wouldn't let us get a HB reading, so the doctor got the ultrasound machine out. LO was sleeping and I found out I have an anterior placenta. We got to hear the HB after that and it's in the 160s.

But we didn't get to schedule the anatomy scan because the calendars didn't go out as far as we needed. I'm kind of bummed.

I had my NT scan today and after measuring the flap they are slightly concerned. I got blood work done to check on the chromosomes. I'll know in 7-10 days. The good part is that ill also find out the sex! Thoughts and prayers please!

Appointment went well. They were able to get the heartbeat with the Doppler this time. 176bpm.

scheduled our next appointment for 18 weeks and A/S for 20 weeks. So excited.

Just got back from todays appointment. They said that they would try to give a sex guess with this ultrasound but the doctor didn't get the memo (they rotate doctors so I get to know all three so I'll know who is on call no matter what) and refused to even try. Did get to see LO though and everything looked good. I'm starting on iron infusions in the next few weeks for my anemia so hopefully that will make me less tired.

I thought it was stupid too. I have to go the Antepartum Diagnostic Center here instead of the OBGyn clinic because the ADC has the more advanced machines. I was able to schedule my next actual OB appointment for May 13, but the ADC calendar didn't go more than 3 weeks out for some reason.

And I have some mandatory training at work around the time I hit 20 weeks (I'm not sure of the exact dates of the training), so I have to schedule my appointment around that so I don't miss anything. I'm gonna ask about the dates of the training when I go into work tomorrow, and then call next week to see if the ADC calendar is up. Appointments fill up fast, and I don't want to wait too long. I also wanted to see if I could schedule it sooner than 20 weeks, but I can't do that until I know the dates of my training.

I have my scan tomorrow but I'm 12 wks 2 days today too!!!

Had my 16w OB appt. HB was 136, got blood drawn for spina bifida screen.
