TDap Question

Both DH and I got the TDap during my pregnancy. LO just got it today (2 month shots). I forgot to ask the doctor, does my mom need to get it because she will be watching the baby when I go back to work at 3 months? I know I've read that caregivers need to get it but is that only before LO gets it himself or does it apply after too?

Our doctor said caregivers should have it too.

I think everyone should get it, regardless of whether they're a baby caregiver or not. No one needs to be catching whooping cough in the developed world in 2014!

When we had DS, we both asked our parents to get it since they were going to be watching DS when I went back to work. It was really no big deal for any of them, and it was one less thing for me to be worried about. This time around, they don't need it again because it's only been 3 years since they got it.
