when did your steri strips fall off?

 I am 2 weeks pp and my steri strips are still there. i was really drugged when they were explaining everything and I thought they said they should fall off by 2 weeks. Hair is growing under them and super itchy so I am thinking of pulling them off soon if they dont fall off. When did yours fall off and if they didnt when did you pull them off?

Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

    Mine did not fall off. My Dr. Removed them at my check up 2 weeks after my CS. She soaked them first in something to make then come off easier. It may have been peroxide but don't try without asking because I'm not sure of that. Once they were off she removed a few stitches that never dissolved.

    Mine never came off either.  I pulled them off, probably around 2 weeks, but I can't really remember.  I don't know if I was having a weird reaction to them or what, but I was starting to get some blisters underneath them and they hurt pretty bad.  I had a really hard time getting the strips off too.  I think I used some kind of oil to help get them off.

    Mine didn't fall off either.  The midwife removed them at my 1 week checkup.

    Mine never fell off. After my 2 week check, my doctor said I could take them off. Came off easier in the shower too, BTW.

    Me: 32 DH: 33  High School Sweethearts  Married 5/28/2005
    DS1 born 6/5/10 at 40 weeks via emergency c-section due to fetal distress and IUGR caused by placental insufficiency
    DS2 born still 8/28/13 at 32 weeks via emergency c-section due to a complete placental abruption - cause unknown
    Baby #3 on the way, EDD 2/29/16.  Originally twins, but we said goodbye to Baby B at 8 weeks.

    Most of Mine stayed on until about 4 weeks. At that point they were hanging off and I pulled the last remaining few.

    Thanks! I ended pulling them off last night. I couldn't take the itching anymore

    I had an allergic reaction to mine so they had to remove them in the hospital. The nurse was so scared it would hurt me but I didn't feel it! Yay for nerve damage- ha! There was a little bleeding- like a scab coming off but nothing serious.

    Mine never fell off either. I took them off around 10-11 days pp. 
    After many years and tears our baby boy is finally here

    By the time I had seen my doc at 3 weeks PP the strips were still there. The doc removed them and when I went back at 6 weeks PP, she said everything was fine.

    I ditto the shower. Both times mine always seemed to just hang on and not want to come off. Each time I just removed them (I believe around 2 weeks) in the shower.

    My RN friend told me mine would fall off, yet it was 16 days later and mine were still there and ITCHY. So I took a shower, laid in bed and pulled mine off. At my 2 week check up (I had to reschedule so it was really at the 3 weeks point) my doctor said they would have removed them at my appointment if I hadn't taken them off myself. He said the way they put them on, they ain't coming off by theirselves.
