I'm much braver than I've ever been thanks to nursing tanks (where were these when my bigs were BFing??). I used to hide in my car when I had to nurse on the go. So far, I've nursed DD2 at church, at Hobby Lobby, at Target, at the doctor's office, at a restaurant, and at a park. I officially don't care who sees what (but I try to make sure I'm not flashing the world). Only took three kids to get to this point.

So far, restaurants, World of Science, movie theatre, car (waiting with DS1 and the babies while DH ran an errand).

Las time I always BF in the car (parking lot) when we were out. This time I really don't care (although I do use my nursing cover, so I care a little). Places that I can think of are the park, library, red lobster, and the pediatrician. I'm not as worried this time about what other people think.

The only place I've really nip'ed was at a little restaurant, but I went to a separate dining area they weren't using so the only people that saw were the waitresses who we're coming in to access the bar. Other than that I've nursed 2-3 times in the car, but honestly it was because he was hungry when I was going to the car anyway.

Doctor's office, grocery store, story hour at the library....pretty much anywhere. I usually use a cover but it's for my own comfort.

I haven't taken this one anywhere yet, but I've nursed in front of anyone who has come to visit. For my other two I'd nurse them anywhere - stores, restaurants, zoo, parks, in the middle of Disney world...it never bothered me. I usually wear a nursing bra, regular tank top and shirt so I can keep my belly covered when I pull the shirt up. I'd love to just wear nursing tanks, but I'm a 34G and they just aren't supportive enough for me!

@WickedNE‌ my ILs are skeeved out by it as well. MIL has banished me to a different room in the past. They haven't bothered meeting this LO yet, but I'm totally looking forward to nursing right in front of them and watching them squirm.

Well it wasn't in public, but my boss just stopped by our house with a meal provided by my office, and I totally just nursed in front of her. I thought it would be awkward but baby was hungry and IDGAF.

I haven't really been anywhere yet and if I was out, he was asleep. But almost everyone that has been to the house has seen my massive boobs plopped out for food. Deal with it! He needs to eat!

Only at the pediatrician's office, in the exam room we were in. This is my first and I haven't really been out much, but I know that I am nervous and modest about doing it anyway. I have a nursing cover and have nursed in front of my doula, friend and mom. I feel awkward doing it because we are still trying to get the hang of things and sometimes I have to readjust baby or fix the latch, which requires my eyes and hands. Maybe when we get really good I'll be able to do it without looking and needing the extra privacy. I can't see myself NIPing in stores while shopping though... Maybe with the next one, I'll be more like you guys and not care so much! Props to you all!!

Pedis, at hibachi, hospital cafe, in laws
I was sweating at the restaurant (it was my first) but she was a champ!
I was also skeeved out by the bathroom changing table but we made it through that too.
How the eff do I wash my hands while holding her after that changing table!?!?
