I'm trying to figure out (for future knowledge so I know what to buy) how it converts to a toddler bed. I've seen this picture:
and I've seen this picture:
Which one does it convert into? It only came with one smaller side so I'm thinking it's like the top picture, I just replace the front of the crib with the half rail. But how can I get the bottom toddler bed? Is that a whole separate bed that mine can't convert into?
Re: Anyone have Da Vinci Emily crib?
Hi -
I have this crib, and it converts to the top picture with the included pieces. It also converts to a full sized bed- but i believe it does require another rail for the other side if you want to make it look like the bottom picture. We were planning to convert it to the top picture, but since we've got another little girl on the way, we're just going straight to a big girl bed.
We've really liked this crib, though.

The bottom picture is a toddler bed. I don't think the crib converts to that.
Here is the full size conversion
Yes, this is a great crib. We ordered the extra rail to convert it to a regular bed when we ordered the crib itself. Most retailers should have the ability to order this for you. I think it was around $100 (?). We keep it in the box inside DS closet.
