Vying for first place with ten weeks under their belts:
@kdc2007 - I hope you got to the gym as much as you'd like to have this week!
@NicoleReed0324 - Sneaking a couple of chocolates isn't too bad ;-) Good job on the restraint otherwise!
@phishgirl29 - Yay for swimming! I can't wait to get back to swimming myself :-)
@Pitchslap - I hope you enjoyed your time with just the one LO!
@tiffletons518 - Hopefully the warmer weather comes more frequently so you can get more outdoor runs in! I also hope the plague stays well away from you and LO(3)!
With 5 weeks in a row -
@calikat80 - I really hope the chiropractor is able to help you out!
@ItsStackie with 3 weeks back - Setting healthy eating habits for LO is a great excuse to revitalize your diet!
@LBeez13 with 2 weeks in a row - Good luck with more veggies - hopefully as LO eats more variety of veggies it'll motivate you to do so too!
A very warm welcome back to

And an extra special shout-out to
@Acrosthec - I hope your physical therapy goes by quickly so you feel better (and can rejoin us!)!!
Re: ~*~ Tuesday's Getting Healthy Check-In ~*~
To go somewhere special I actually curl my hair and do a little more makeup so maybe 45 minutes to an hour.
QOTW: 30 minutes; 45 if I straighten my hair.
This week: well I started the week off with an AWESOME visit to the chiro who cracked me back into alignment and I walked out of the office sciatica pain free! He is a miracle worker. He also gave me some great positions to nurse in and things to do with my legs while nursing to keep myself in shape. I left the office and went straight into a 6.5 mile run which was slow, but still felt good and my hip held out. Woo hoo! Did the elliptical today and plan on working out and running a few more times this week. DH is traveling so I don't have any backup in getting out on my own so I'm making do. I've also eaten about 7,000 dark chocolate chips and 2 bottles of wine since he left. Solo bedtime with the littles has been rough.
Goal: get in marathon training condition.
Getting ready: I can get ready for work in about 8 minutes if I showered the night before. If we're talking taking my time to shower, shave, blow dry and look nice more like 45 minutes. My wedding makeup only took me 9 minutes and I did it myself so other than blow drying my massive mane of hair I'm pretty quick.
@musicalsilver I feel as though you give me more credit than I deserve.
Last week: I know I walked/jogged on Tuesday. Saturday I did a yard work workout (counts for me) and then jogged to the park for lunch. Soccer game on Sunday was more like a scrimmage. I ended up leaving the field with my back aching. (I think being a mom is getting to me, with the constant baby on my hip.) I ate well until DH went grocery shopping and came back with soda. I guess I forgot to tell him that I'm trying to cut back.
This week: Ran tonight. I really need to work on getting a healthy night of sleep so I have more energy and walk in the morning when I work from home. I'm trying to start squats and other things more often.
Goal: Tone up and be ready for half marathon. @tttwalters 2 hour half? I hope I can make it in 3!!
QOTW: If I only have to nurse LO I can get ready in 20, otherwise I usually need an hour or so. DH has been really helpful lately, so I've been sleeping in a bit longer. If I am going out with DH it takes me maybe 20-30 minutes still, but for a wedding I need like 1.5 hours.
I feel like I rambled a lot this week, probably because I am on the laptop and not my phone.
;;)Last week: I got in my workouts! MJ is really getting independent. He will just sit and play while I work out. It's awesome! I kept up healthy eating and I have been eating fruit smoothies in lieu of chocolate!
This week, hope to do at least 5 sweat sessions!
Goal is to still tone up! Especially my belly!
Gtky: in the morning it takes me 15 minutes. I shower and dry my hair the night before so that helps. I have a 5 minute makeup routine, straighten the kinks out of my hair that sneak in overnight and throw on clothes. If I'm going somewhere special it takes me 45 minutes with a shower, blowdry, and make up!
I'm late this week... oops.
Last week- We had the regular flu still, so nothing really. I got in A singular run. Nothing else.
This week- The stomach flu. So, another week of absolutely nothing.
Goal- To start working out again. Lol. That half that I was going to attempt to do and just walk some of.. yah.. it's in a week. I'd be crazy to try and think I could survive when I have done NOTHING in over 2 weeks.
QOTW- Umm to make myself look just presentable? 30 mins maybe. To actually really make an effort.. closer to 45-60 minutes. Which doesn't happen often cuz ain't nobody got time for that.
