booboo nipple?

My nip was killing me starting yesterday. Looked today and looks like I have a booboo. Still nurse? Wash with soap after each feed? Advice?

Sorry LO was nursing so I couldn't type much/well and my phone sucks big time.

Looks like a small cut on the inner left of right nipple. Starting to scab over. I want to prevent infection since I just got over one on other side.

Washing with soap will dry it out and make your boo boo worse. Do you use lanolin or nipple butter? Make sure you keep changing breast pads and air the boo boo out as much as possible. Applying breast milk to the boo boo will also help it heal.

How is booboo easier to type than small cut or small crack?

I'm currently one handed typing and confused.

Thanks for the info on the soap. I'll avoid that, use my lanolin, & rub BM in it. Problem solved.
