Is anyone from or around the Denver area?

Is it warm enough if mid September there to go to a water park?

    Probably?  But you have to take into account that the rockies are next door and there could also be a blizzard.

    I was going to say it might be a crap shoot.  I live in Central KS, but in mid September you really never know.  It could be absolutely beautiful or super warm or fairly cold.  So, unfortunately, a crap shoot....

    That's what I'm afraid of. I live it Utah so I'm all over the crap shoot weather. I think I was hoping someone would come on here and say, "yes, duh, it's amazing in September."

    Yes, going to World Water....or trying. Our options are California in August or Denver and surrounding areas in September. Obviously the California option sounds ideal, but we want to include my parents and they will be going to Denver for some work things in September so we wanted to merge the trip into theirs. They live in GA so they don't get to see the kids as much as any of us would like.

    Well there is also Elitch Gardens if it is too cold for WW.  I think September is usually dry and fairly warm. You'd probably be ok. :)

    We were going to road trip so Elitch Gardens is on our agenda as well. Now I'm laughing at what a dumb ass I am though. Banich, WW isn't open after Labor Day. So much for the weather forecast!

    Origami, I always need someone to blame...can I please? Oh wait, Banich pointed out that so many water parks around these parts aren't even open after Labor Day. She was right.... On to my plans for Cali.
