Growth spurt or colic

Help! My LO is 6 1/2 weeks and has been crying for 4 hours on and off. Eating but not a lot. Gets very fussy at the breast. Napping only in small increments and her night schedule has gone down to 2 hours at a time. What is this????

I'd say growth spurt too if its just popping up. We're in the middle of the 6 week one too. Joy.

I think we are having one too- 5.5 weeks. Erratic sleeping schedule and tonite... OMG- she's a piggy. I nursed, then she took 2.5 oz formula (she rarely finishes 2 oz. 20 min later she nursed again. 30 min later and she's nursing again. Not sure where she's putting it?!

I'd also say growth spurt!!! My LO has been doing this too (although she may finally be done!). Just try to stay calm, it'll most likely pass!

Lord I hope you are right! Lol I don't think I could handle colic. She's not really eating like crazy like I thought she would in a spurt.

She has just recently started spitting up. The crying just started today so not sure about the spitting up.

Growth spurts aren't always weight/length... Sometimes it's a "brain spurt".
