My 27 mos is in the 97% for heighth. He is outgrown his booster chair and I need to replace it. He still needs one, preferably with straps, but I'm having a hard time finding one online that looks deep enough in the seat. Ideas?
We have the IKEA junior chair and DD has used it since she turned 2. It is just a regular chair that is smaller but higher up. No buckles though. If you have an ikea nearby that might be a great option. That thing you just posted does not seem very stable with as much as kids can wiggle. I suppose it must be though otherwise they wouldn't sell it.
Prior to that we used the fisher price healthy care deluxe booster and loved it. It has three height settings and buckles, we bought it for 22-25 but it looks like it is more expensive at the moment

DD still uses it from time to time at restaurants and she is almost 4

We also have the Fisher price Healthy Care booster seat for DD#1. I started sitting her in just the booster part at our dinner table around 21 months. She is 40 inches tall now and still uses it. I also use it for when we go out to dinner for both kids.
Does he really need anything? Both of mine starting sitting at the table around that age w/o a booster. Then again, they haven't been strapped in since they were at least 18 months, maybe earlier.
I agree that I think being strapped in is over kill at that age. But even at almost 4 my DD would need to sit on her knees to be able to eat properly (ie be able to eat over her plate)
