WTF coworker? Why are you coming to work with the stomach flu? I just got over the cold from hell, even though I hardly ever normally get sick. I do not need a stomach bug right now.

I think people should actually be fined for doing stuff like this. I know people go in because they need the money (I don't get paid for sick time), but if people were actually fined for doing it, then it would stop stuff from spreading and result in less people having time off.

i completely agree. i think it's really selfish when people come to work sick. no one thinks you're a hero for toughing it out. in fact, we resent your nasty sick self for coming in and sharing your funk. it really pisses me off when I end up having to use my sick leave because someone else was trying to be a martyr. WTF.

WTF Mother? I bring up the TDaP vaccine last night and I am met with "I will absolutely not get it and you shouldn't either!" Then I wake up to eight (EIGHT) emails citing all kinds of research that says I shouldn't vaccinate my baby AT ALL.

WTF Director of my department - did you really think that I would want to give up a year of maternity leave benefits to work a few part time hours in MAY when I will have NEWBORN baby to finish documents that someone else isn't getting done on time? Yeah no ... I'll take my 3 months of 90% top-up and the rest of the year of EI benefits instead of the 5 hours a week for 2 months you're offering me.

And yeah, these deadlines are in May and June, when I will have a NEWBORN to take care of. And contrary to what the project manager who asked me about this yesterday stating "I won't be that busy anyway", I probably WILL be.

WTF self? Why did you schedule yourself for the busiest week ever??

We got back late Sunday from visiting our parents 6 hours away this weekend.
Then Monday there was an evening event we're required to work at school, so it was basically a 13 hour work day for me.
Tuesday we saw Wicked, which was awesome, but I had to have dinner on the table when DH got home from work and we had just enough time to eat, change and drive downtown, then didn't get home until around 11.
Tonight I have a meeting after work and we have a hospital tour scheduled for 7:00 so DH will stop and get food on the way home and we'll only have about an hour of down time before we need to go to that.
Tomorrow I scheduled a doctor appointment for right after work, and then my GD follow-up appointment for right after that.

I just need an hour free to go to the grocery store so I can stick with my GD diet the rest of the week!

WTF digestive system? Why did you all of a sudden decide to act up and give me the most poisonous and obnoxious flatulence ever known to man? I woke up DH several times last night because it smelled so bad. I know that farts are food ghosts - these were more like food demons. I hope they're exorcised within the next few days. I'm getting sick of having to leave my classroom every time I have to fart, because not only are they nasty smelly, but loud as fuck.

My cat is the same way! I think it's called psychogenic alopecia. She's licked herself bald in so many places that we just call her Patches now. We've tried meds, the thunder jacket, everything. No luck.

We had a cat who did that, too. And she started peeing on everything after baby came. ..even on baby's clothes, on bedding, on our clothes, etc. After multiple trips to vet and no resolution, she went to live outside.

We just got a purple pherome collar for our nervous kitty- and a prescription for anti anxiety pills. Ours is to hopefully keep him from peeing outside the litterbox though. The collar is wonderful... I want one that makes me that mellow!

Oh no! Looks like this anxious cat business is common. I'm hoping ours mellows with this collar. After DD she did alright. I think now that DD is a toddler and she knows another is on the way she losing it a little. @ThereBeDragons we have the purple collar for our cat too!

Wtf boss- (who I rarely complain about) If there was a deadline to tell the district I am taking a year leave then why the fuck wouldn't you tell me?? I found out today that the deadline was February 1st!!! First of all, that is way too early to decide. Secondly, why wouldn't you tell me that!!?? Now it's literally either I completely quit or I go back in the fall. No option for them to hold my spot and possibly return after a year of staying home. I'm so mad!!

Not only is it hard to breathe due to baby feet being all up in my ribs, but now I've got a cough and its triggering an asthma attack for the first time in almost a year? My inhaler is expired and I am so not looking forward to an ER visit- so settle right the fuck down lungs.
