What do you do for Mother's Day?

I just bought my Mother's Day gifts for my mother this morning, since in the UK Mother's Day is on the 30th of March, and it got me wondering about what you guys do for Mother's Day. Do you buy your own gifts? Do you just not celebrate it? Does somebody take your kids out to buy you gifts? Or do your kids make gifts for you?

    Before my nephew and DD arrived, my siblings and I would take my mom to the botanic gardens because she loves flowers.  After my nephew was born, it kind of just turned into my mom and I going and then meeting up with everyone else at my grandma's house.  Last year, I was pregnant and didn't have the energy to walk around that huge place, so we just hung out at my grandma's.  This year, no plans have been made, but I want to continue the tradition of taking my mom to the gardens. Other then that, I have no idea what we'll do.

    We take my mom out to brunch and get her cards. I dont plan on doing anything for me because bentley is to.young to understand

    Last year when ex-H and I were still together, he and DD made me breakfast in bed and then later in the day we went to Walden Pond, which was something on my lifelong bucket list. 

    This year IDK? I'll probably wind up spending it with my mom but I'm not expecting anything myself. DD's too young to really decide to do something on her own.

    DD will make me something at daycare. And BD will do something for me because he wants to get back together. Last year he bought me a video camera and we probably went out to eat.

    I will probably get my mom a card and a small gift. also, this will be my first mother's day so I'm execited about it!

    I am intentionally estranged from my mom, so not traditions here. I was too tired and broke and depressed to do anything last year other than just hang out with DS (like every other day). I think I wore a dress, though :P

    I might buy myself something small, that's "mom-themed." A coffee mug or a birthstone necklace or something. Idk. We'll probably just go to the park lol

    Ooooh! I bought myself a Harley Quinn phone case! I wish I had a picture of it, the case broke off a couple weeks ago :(

    I see my mom and my nanny. Usually see mil too but that's out this year. Gosh this got me thinking...if XH gets the kids on Sundays regularly I sure as hell hope I get them the whole day instead?!?? On man I don't want to think about this.
    Chances are if mg oldest is still in his preschool he will make me something.
