i need an o-ring for my Medela Harmony

I somehow managed to lose the o-ring for my medela harmony (manual) pump. I don't use it super frequently but it sure is nice to have. Does anyone know where I can get just the o-ring. The pump itself is fine and I'd rather not buy the whole stem, o-ring, and diaphragm combo if I don't have to. Those are $13-$17 and I just don't need those. I went to a hardware store and got the o-ring closest to the right size but it's too fat and the handle won't fit onto the body correctly now. Sad

  • I dont know anything ab that pump but I'd try eBay.

  • Maybe try Target.  I know they sell extra shields and other Medela accessories.  Or maybe Babies R Us.  I know a  lot of people have had good experiences with Medela's customer service so if all else fails I'd just call them.  GL

ETA:  I just checked Medela's website and they only show the diaphragm, puller and o-ring combo kit.  I'd call them to see if it's even possible to get just the o-ring by itself before you drive yourself nuts trying to find it.  Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll just send you one.

My wife had this problem as well. The oring is very thin and I was able to find one in a kit from Harbor Freight Tools. It is in a kit made by Storehouse and it is called a Metric Nitrile O-ring Assortment (225 pc.). The item number of the kit is 67609. The size of the actual o-ring is 4mm x 1mm (4mm ID x 1mm thickness). There were 10 o-rings in the kit so at a price of $3.99 for the whole kit, it was worth it.

I called Medela when I had exactly this problem and they sent me a replacement for free. Great customer service.
