Here come the terrible twos...vent

Man this is not easy! I feel like it's literally whining or full blown tantrums from the minute DS wakes up until he goes to bed. Granted, with a 6 week old sister he's had a lot to adjust to in the past few weeks, but geeze! This morning I had to give him some marshmallows with his breakfast to avoid WWIII. Trying hard to be patient and pick my battles....:/

    Ha!  Try having 2 of them at the same age going through this.  I sometimes feel like I need a drink by 10am...haha.  Anyways, just taking it day by day, and they're not too bad everyday.

    I've done things lately that I swore I'd never do just to prevent a tantrum. I try to keep myself in check though and don't do things that could potentially cause a problem down the road or let DS know that he has "won". Everyday seems to be a stand off to see who has the upper hand...my 2 year old, or me. I love this age despite that stuff though.
