  I like Reid better but they are both perfectly legitimate. It's just a personal preference that I like one spelling over the other.

  I prefer Reed because of the nature reference in that spelling. I love the name and think both spellings are fine.

  According to the Baby Naming Bible that is behindthename.com, Reed is the original way of spelling. It is DS's name but he's named after my father so that was the reason for our spelling.
