what exactly do they mean? Are there some people that experience zero nausea, no tiredness, etc? I had a friend say this recently after announcing her 3rd pregnancy in the past 4 years. Are these people just more equipped to handle pregnancies? I am in shape, eat healthy, exercise, etc., but this pregnancy has just knocked me on my booty. I'm 13 w 1 d and the nausea won't go away, I am perpetually tired, and that is just SO not me. I've spent my whole life being the person who can get by on 5 hours of sleep and still have tons of energy. Previously I couldn't fall asleep before midnight even if I tried every trick in the book...now I'm out by 10pm. Am I being a wimp, and some people just handle this better? Or are there people who don't go through any of this?
Re: When People Say They Have Easy Pregnancies...
Im a FTM and obsessed about symptom and lack there of for the first 2 months. I feel bad now though for everyone who has had it rough. I honestly have felt most days completly normal. I have been slightly more emotional, boobs slightly hurt etc... but over all Ive felt myself most of this pregnancy. I would be one of those that has had an "easy" pregnancy so far.
Things change so quickly though you never know what will happen symptom and feeling wise from day to day.

Sometimes I feel like I am a baby about it as well, especially when people comment about throwing up several times a day. Like PP I don't cook anymore, i can't even sit with my family when I eat because something makes me want to puke. Second time around has been similar to my first, I really hope it gets better.
But I do think it is less symptoms, my SIL has six and had no problems with any of them. I am jealous of those people but I do have comfort that the baby is doing ok with my symptoms.
My Ovulation Chart
This time around has been a little more tough, a little more m/s in the first tri, I feel tired still, but it's also hard to chase a toddler around and it's been the winter from hell, so I think that contributes too.

So far with this one I'd say I've had a normal experience. Minor back pain, queasiness in the beginning, weakened immune system, etc.
I just kind of look at it on a level basis: Easy, normal, a little rougher than normal, rough or just overall terrible. And of course high risk. And this is just based on stories I've heard, that's how I classify others pregnancies, like "Oh man, she's been having a rough pregnancy" or, "Yeah, sounds like a normal pregnancy".
That being said, I am so happy to be pregnant and none of my symptoms are as bad as I had imagined. I am so grateful that my ms hasn't been overwhelming. I've been able to continue working out and pretty much eat foods I normally do, so I feel like I really can't complain.
Pregnancy has pretty huge emotional effects on a person too that should be considered.
