How many weeks/what fruit are you?

How are you feeling this week?

Upcoming appointments or milestones:

GTKY: When it comes to things around your house, are you and/or your DH "We can DIO for much cheaper" kind of people or "Hell no! Hire that sh*t out" kind of people? Any bad experiences either way?

we can do that for much cheaper for MOST things but we're renting so normally if it's something big we call the landlord

How are you feeling this week?
Starting to feel like I have more energy at times, but I'm still pretty restricted on what I can do thanks to ongoing back pain :(
    Upcoming appointments or milestones:
Nothing this week.  Met with OB on Monday, she couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler this time but I did not freak out :) The did an ultra sound and baby is still there moving around!

We've always rented but we are very into DIY.  I'm also a fan of the quick/cheap fix rather than waiting years to afford being able to renovate something "correctly" (i.e. I'll paint ugly cabinets if we can't afford to replace them).  I love pinterest :)

Any bad experiences either way?For the most past we try to do/fix things ourselves. Or call our dads. They are the ultimate and fixing everything.

  • How many weeks/what fruit are you? 14 weeks / lemon

How are you feeling this week? Pretty good. Finally got a body pillow and got some sleep last night!

Upcoming appointments or milestones: Nope. No appointment till next month.

GTKY: When it comes to things around your house, are you and/or your DH "We can DIO for much cheaper" kind of people or "Hell no! Hire that sh*t out" kind of people? Any bad experiences either way? We know how do nothing so we hire out a lot. Good thing is that my dad knows how to do everything from automotive to electrical, so he's slowly teaching DH when he has time to come over.

How many weeks/what fruit are you?
13 weeks, a peach (I'm eating one right now actually, yummy!!)

How are you feeling this week?
Great! I have a lot more energy throughout the day and as long as I get everything I need to do done by about 7:00p.m., I'm good!

    Upcoming appointments or milestones:
Just had an appointment yesterday that went great! Found the HB the second he put it on my stomach and it was 150bpm! No other milestones other than hitting 2nd tri this weekend! :)

GTKY: When it comes to things around your house, are you and/or your DH "We can DIO for much cheaper" kind of people or "Hell no! Hire that sh*t out" kind of people? Any bad experiences either way?
We are very much DIY kind of people, not necessarily because "it's cheaper," but because we like to do that kind of stuff on our own. It's how we were both raised. DH is actually building a large shed/small pole barn next weekend with our dads and his uncles. Even drew up his own blueprints and everything! As long as they can limit their intake of Bud Light to a minimum until it's completed, it should turn out great!  ;)

Mostly good, but still dry heaving. And more bump, less bloat.
    Upcoming appointments or milestones:
16 week appt on 3/31. Announcing on FB soon.

We are avid DIYers - we turned our carpeted stairs into hardwoods, we installed hardwood flooring, built a twin bed and trundle from scratch... but we also don't have a problem spending money for a professional when it makes sense.
