No I am not pregnant!!!

I AM GOING BACK TO SCHOOL!!

I had to share it.

I finally talked to my H and I am going to go back to school to get my Bachelor's in Nursing. I have to take few prerequisites before I can apply to the accelerate 2 year program but its something I always wanted to do. I regret every day that I didn't go to nursing school straight out of HS. have a Bachelor's degree in a different field but it hasn't yet lead me to a job that I actually love doing and I always wanted to be a nurse.

It will be a while before I am done, probably around 4 years because it will take me around 3-4 semesters to take the prerequisites but it will only be 2 classes each semester so it wont be a lot until I actually get to Nursing school.

I am kicking myself now for not doing it back then because I've been out of HS for a few years now. And just to think that I could have been an RN by now.

I've been working at different jobs and I feel like I will never have a career, just a job, if that makes sense.

I don't want to always feel like I missed out on pursuing something I really wanted to do.

I have a friend who did this 4-5 years ago. So now she's done and working as a nurse and very very happy.

@2013mommy I knew you were in nursing school but I didn't know it was an accelerated program. I am just so excited that I have finally decided to do it.

@lovelyritametermaid I know it will be difficult but I have been working different jobs for a while and it feels like something is missing. Nursing is something I always wanted to do and when you want something really bad, the extra hard work you put in is worth it.
