Lillian June (nn Lily)
Gwendolyn June (too many potential nns to list)
Deanna June
Lillian is my favorite name, but soaring in popularity, which is why Aidan was not remotely an option - not sure how we'll feel in a year (lilies are my second favorite flower, but I'm allergic to my favorite. Such is life.)
Gwendolyn is his suggestion and a nod to our Celtic roots (we also discussed Guinevere and Genevieve - Genevieve is too froofroo and Guinevere is too fantasy.) I like Gwendolyn well enough, as well as most of the nicknames. His other suggestions have been Lindsay which I hate with a fiery passion and Anastasia which I can't quite seem to talk myself into (it's not bad - I just don't like it enough for my child.)
Deanna is a nod to his grandma Cynthia, who I more or less want to be when I grow up (I strongly dislike the name Cynthia for weird reasons, but we both like Deanna). I DID have a co-worker Deanna who I still talk to but we're not overly close. (She's lovable, in an "I hate people but you're OK for now" kind of way.)
June is after my mother and my favorite great-aunt and various great grandmothers who are poorer namesakes.

N14 Nov. Siggy: CELEBRATION!
I'm totally biased of course because it's my name. As a kid all my friends just called me D. It was a great nick name for a little girl and it ages well imo.
It's unlikely anybody in her school will share her name and she would love it
