I miss David. What is happening? Just when I fall in love they change him! I am having a hard time with Matt.

Regenerations are always difficult. I didn't like David when he took over from Christopher.

Matt is fantastic as the Doctor and a perfect follow-up to David's portrayal.

Nope.

Watch The End of Time. It's not in the regular season. You see him leave Donna then he goes off by himself with Fake Doctor and the Cybermen adventure (The Last Doctor) then he goes to Mars (The Waters of Mars) then he goes back to Earth (The End of Time pts. 1 and 2.)

You need to watch The Waters of Mars and the End of Time. Otherwise Matt's regeneration will make no sense.

And get a lot of tissue because you will fucking lose it at the end of The End of Time.

I'm a dirty lurker, but I have to second what every else says... give Matt a chance! I felt the same way you do, but ,my brother told me I'd end up loving MS, and he was right! Now number 11 is my favorite doctor :-)

I'm definitely going to watch for the next post professing a little Matt Smith love.... it will happen.

I didn't read the rest of the thread, so I may be repeating what others have said.

I took Ten's departure hard. I refused to watch Eleven for a month. I didn't like the first half of Smith's first season, but I warmed up to it and him after the second half. He ended up being a great Doctor. And while Ten will always be my Doctor, I still like Eleven a lot too.

Give him a chance @EVA116‌.

I haven't seen all the episodes, but from the ones I have seen, I ended up liking Matt Smith but not finding him attractive. I did think the scene leading up to his regeneration was really lovely. I also thought it was hilarious that he acknowledged his lack of eyebrows in his final episode.
