Any updates? After asking you guys about whether you saw a MFM, and what type of care you received for twins, I'm meeting with a new OB on Monday. I'm hoping they are willing to treat me as high-risk and work in conjunction with a MFM for my ultrasounds.
When is your next appt?
Monday for a consultation with a new OB, if I stay with the old I have a 12 week appt and NT scan on 4/4.

QOTW- If you could visit one country in the world, what would it be? We're still working on the national parks... international travel really isn't in the budget, so I tend to think more of places closer to home that I'd like to visit. Glacier National Park might be next on the list for us.

Any updates? Had an appt on Monday. Both babies are big for gestational age at 2lbs 13oz and 2lbs 10oz. They think baby a has atleast one pinhole in her heart, maybe more. I'm pretty stressed about that, hoping the tech can get a better view in three weeks when I go back. It's very possible there are holes since that's a known defect causes by the Zoloft I take :-( Baby b has high amniotic fluid but appears to be swallowing fine. My blood sugar came back fine, actually borderline hypoglycemic as it went from 84 to 70. So they're guessing since I'm tall and DH is tall and DD was 8lbs 5oz that these ones are just big since there appears to be nothing to cause the increased size. OB will do a c section on May 20 if I get that far, he doesn't think I will based on their size, can't believe I'm already measuring 40w! We also discussed vaginal birth and he doesn't want to try unless both are head down. He's very experienced (the guy delivered me almost 29 years ago lol) and said he can and will do breach if necessary but he prefers not to due to the risks involved. I understand and appreciate that so I am more at peace with the c section decision after hearing his reasoning.

We've been lucky to travel extensively, even to Europe in the fall with DS. I'd love to go back to St. Lucia, where we went for our honeymoon. Maybe for our 10 year anniversary!

4. Updates: A is measuring 6.5lbs and B is 5.12lbs. Both are head down, low, and facing my spine...so ready to go.... but my cervix is still long and closed thankfully so my OB thinks I can make it another couple weeks!
6. That was my last MFM appt and my next OB appt is Friday.
7. QOTW: Ireland. I just want to go and see the green and drink a beer with the amazing locals.
Four weeks ago I was measuring 35 weeks, so I'm sure I'm measuring at least 39 weeks now. I am as big as I was when I delivered DD at 40w 5d.
Starting to get more uncomfortable. Sleeping is hard- my ribs are killing me! Noticing that I'm retaining more water- blah
Next appt is tmrw with OB, who I have not seen in months (been seeing MFM every two weeks). Looking forward to discussing the birth "plan" with her.
I would love to go to Italy, Spain, and Thailand... And back to Greece someday, which is where we went on our honeymoon. Amazing!

Any updates? Had a growth scan yesterday...was told both babies look perfect...they weigh about a pound and a half each...same size right now...baby girl is breech, and baby boy is transverse, so we hope that changes!

Any updates? C-section is schedule for April 3. 36 weeks, 3 days! Can't believe I will have babies in 21 days. So far all my appointments are good. Babies look great on all ultrasounds and NSTs, and my BP is wonderful. However, I am super sore and sleeping poorly, and still working full time. I have been doing massages biweekly but am now doing them weekly to try to relax and get some pain relief prior to the girls arriving.
When is your next appt? I am going twice a week, I see the OB Monday nights after work for a NST, and then the MFM on Wed or Thurs depending on my day off for an ultrasound and another NST.

Any updates? Just getting over bronchitis. I have been sick for the past two weeks. My last appointment I found out my cervix went from 4.2 to 2.7 in two weeks so I am now required to go in weekly to get that checked.

Any updates? The ultrasound showed a Persistent Right Umbilical Vein in Baby A, so we'll have some further testing to check for any other defects. Otherwise, I'm feeling about the same, can't sleep, heartburn, the whole nine yards : ) Still working on the nursery and getting really excited for my shower!
When is your next appt? Fetal echo for both babies tomorrow morning and genetic testing next Tuesday. Next OB appt is April 4th and I still have to schedule my next Ultrasound for next week sometime.
QOTW- If you could visit one country in the world, what would it be? DH and I were lucky enough to take a trip to Ireland, Scotland, England and Paris last year and it was amazing! I would definitely love to go back to Paris. Otherwise, I would like to see Austria.

No periods due to 17 years of ballet and distance running after college. Zero response to 2 months of Clomid, little response to Letrozole. IUI left with 9 cysts = too many viable eggs due to age. On to IVF. Low dose of all meds still produced 37 mature eggs 12.6.11. Froze due to overstimulation.
FET #1.1 1.22.12 BFN. FET #1.2 2.22.12=GRACE! (and a vanishing twin).

How far along are you measuring? Last ultrasound both babies measured 7 weeks 5 days which is exactly what they were (did IVF so not much question about timing)

QOTW- If you could visit one country in the world, what would it be? We would love to return to Russia someday as that's the country my adopted son was born in and honestly we sometimes miss the people and culture there (we spent 6 weeks or so in country during the process). If we're picking a country we haven't visited Australia wins. I've read and seen so much about it, I'd just love to see it in person. Also, I have a few online friends there so it would be awesome to meet them in person.

Any updates? Babies are doing great. My ankles just started swelling this week after a few long days of work. My goal was always to work through 37 weeks but I'm beginning to really question my ability to get there since I spend a lot of time on my feet. We will see!
QOTW- If you could visit one country in the world, what would it be? DH and I would really love to ski Austria. If I keep working hopefully we could take the kids when they are 8 - 10. I'm hopeful we can keep traveling even with two babies! We did Italy last year about 3 months before we got pregnant and are both so thankful we went!

Well, because of plenty of medical intervention, they just turned 1 month old this past Saturday. While we're still camped out in the NICU, I'm constantly counting my lucky stars that they are here.
When is your next appt?
We're in the NICU, so basically always. But my c/s follow up is on March 31.
QOTW- If you could visit one country in the world, what would it be?
Sweden. I love Scandinavian design and architecture, and my husband is Swedish. We decided if we were to be expats, we'd leave for a Scandinavian country.
