*crafty Bs check in*

Didn't see this yesterday and I actually got a few things done.

So show it off ladies!!! What projects have you completed this past week? Whats next on your list??

I finished the infant bibs finally, they were harder than I thought they would be. I also made a new cloth diaper :)imageimage

Next is another cloth diaper and prob make a handful of cloth wipes as well :). I swear I only sew when my hubby isn't home.

  • All my craft stuff is sitting in a pile in a corner since we moved last week.  Hopefully it gets unpacked soon so I can get back to crafting!

My first project post-move is going to be a simple ren-fest costume for LO.  :-D

  • OMG I love the bibs!  And my best friend is cloth diaper obsessed.  Do you sell them? PM me or find me on FB because if we start posting about selling stuff, I'll have to ban us both lol

  • How do you ladies find the time. I have yarn to make dryer balls, still in the Joanns bag for over a month. 4 CDs I have to replace the elastic on, sitting by my sewing machine going on week 3, and I still haven't downloaded all of LOs monthly pictures to our computer to start putting anything together for a birthday growth chart.
    You all are amazing!!!!
  • I did a couple things. The St. Patrick's Day hat for M and a green crochet headband for myself, plus a hat for my sister and matching scarf for her dog (yup, dog scarf) for her birthday. I still need to finish up salt dough handprints that I started at Christmas time to send to my parents :-/
I still have three salt dough handprints sitting on my kitchen counter waiting for me to finish them.  I'm glad I'm not the only one!

  • H has gotten a little into the sensory bottle thing...a little too into it.  We went to Michael's yesterday, and he got more stuff for them.  I'll end up making them.  I still need to perfect the glitter one.  We are also going to try a food coloring one.

On another note, I am in the process of crocheting a queen size afgan...out of left over yarn from other projects.  It's taking a while.

@subliminalrabbit want to knit something "together"?  I need some motivation too!

I've been thinking of either a sweater for the fall like *this one*

    image

Or making LO's sweater coat in the next size for next winter (sorry if the picture is huge or doesn't show up - let me know if it's mean and I'll re-do it):

Or if you can think of more seasonally-relevant things I'm down for that too!

  • @musicsilver, yes!  I'd love to do a knit-along and I adore that sweater coat!  E grew out of his first cardigan before he could wear it.  :(

Oooh! A j13 knit along is a great idea!!

  • @Cricket81 and @subliminalrabbit -

Let me dig out the book I got that pattern from tonight and I can have a look at it with an eye toward sizing it up (I think my book only goes to 12m?) and putting together a knit along.

I'll make a post about it tonight separate from this one :-)

  • I wish I knew how to knit - someone teach me! :)
  • @Kelly422 YouTube is the BEST for learning to knit. They have videos for everything and you can pause or re watch them as much as you want.
