sounds crazy but sit ups (i do them on a ball) actually help me when my back is sore… and if you can, sit on the ground and bend your knees to your chest then gently roll back onto your back and use your weight to roll back up over & over… it doesn't feel great in the moment but after i did them, my back felt better quick ! i can't Imagine standing as much as teachers have to ! good luck!
Epsom salts are a life saver! For me back rubs do nothing. I'm an Esthetician so I'm bending over people all day. My back feels 100% the day after an Epsom salt bath. Hope it helps you too!
Exercise ball is awesome - avoid sitting in a regular chair as much as you can. Honestly, standing is better for your back than sitting is! Do make sure you have good shoes though
The chiro was key for me in late pregnancy - made a big difference. A support belt can help too. And ditto the suggestions to do yoga and stretching - if your hips and hamstrings are tight, that will really cause back pain to be worse.
When my lower back is super killing me, I go in the shower, get on all fours and do pelvic tilts with hot water streaming on the area that hurts. It helps open up the lower back, giving more room for baby and makes it nice and relaxed.

Wow, you can do situps? I lost that in the first trimester, and I used to be able to do 100 at a sitting
Have you looked into more comfy shoes? I gave up trying to look professional and got a pair of those ugly clogs that all nurses/waitresses etc seem to wear. Huge help.
Warm baths are amazing... I also get the hubs to rub my lower back every night before bed. It only feels good while he is doing it, but I will take any relief I can get.
