Workout thread (and an AW)

I lost 6 lbs in the past 2 1/2 weeks!  Woo-hoo!  I have been doing the workouts from DHs website, tracking all of my food, and doing great.  I feel so much better already.  I have a goal of another 6 in the next 3 1/2 weeks, hope I can do it.  Then my trip to Europe (just hoping to maintain there), then back home to lose another 10 to be at pre-baby weight.  I know I can do this.  I usually have no problem maintaining on vacation even though we eat so much because of the non-stop walking, so I think I should be good.

On the workout front, I have been doing really well.  Upping my weights, fitting in 5 days a week.  Did a lower body workout this morning that got me nice and fatigued, and feeling sore all through my upper body from yesterday.

How is everyone else doing this week?  Hits, misses?

 

TL;DR I'm kicking ass and taking names

  • I'm not losing any. In fact I gained, but I bought pants in a size down so I'm excited about that.

    I'm going to the gym tonight. I need to get better about my lunch workouts and start doing more.

  • @LovelyRitaMeterMaid, what is Isla restricted too?  Remember too that losing weight is at least 80% food, 20% workout.  You can workout like a maniac and not drop anything if you are eating like crap.

  • Gotcha.  I know what you mean about feeling guilty.  Mine is much, much easier to deal with, but DS has a peanut and nut allergy, so I only have them once in a blue when I am out without him.  Alot easier to deal with than gluten and dairy though!  I'm pretty sure I would be hiding in a closet eating crackers

  • I need some motivation.  I will always get myself to the gym, but man I am bored bored bored lately.  Usually on Tuesdays I go to Zumba class but I can't go tonight, which means I have to go to the gym and workout by myself, which I am dreading (I don't usually, but the last couple weeks I have been in a serious funk.)

    I just discovered the Nike Training Club app. I haven't done a whole workout yet, but looking at the options, it seems awesome. I'm going to start working out at lunch now that I'm done pumping, so the 30 minute workout options it gives are great for me. It was free when I downloaded it a few weeks ago. You should check it out if you're looking for some new workouts.
