One & Done: Only child

What season are you?

When I was a little girl, my mom was obsessed with the book "Color Me Beautiful".  It was a self help book that basically told you what "season" you belonged to (based on your coloring).  From that, the book reccomended a color palette that you should stick to when shopping for clothing.  She was so obsessed with it she used to have "color" parties where she would invite a "color consultant" to come to the party and "do everyone's colors."

It was/is pretty hokey, but I think some of the advice is good.

This is an online updated version of the book.  I am a light summer.  What are you?

Yes!  I always go for jewel tones, and actually DH and I painted most of our house in some of the suggested colors.

Deep Autumn.  This all reminds me of the documentary by Michael Moore.  I can't remember the name, but it was about the Flint, Michigan recession.

Yeah, there was a woman on there who was helping him find his season.  Sounds really random, but it was all connected back together somehow, in that Michael Moore way.

    Roger & Me

I was obsessed with my mother's copy of that book in junior high too. And our former director her was a color consultant as a side job.

I'm a light spring (artificial intelligence) but that's pretty much my least favorite color palatte. I'm all about the autumn shades.
