Weird latch at 15+ months?!

Any extended BFers out there have latch issues late in the game? The last few days it has felt SO WEIRD when DD nurses. It doesn't exactly hurt, but it almost feels like she's opening and closing her jaw too much. Honestly, it feels like she's sucking my nipple off (for lack of better explanation). What in the world is this?!

    Teething? Or maybe your PP AF is about to return if it hasn't already?

    My nips are super-sensitive around ovulation and again a day or so before AF shows. When my first PP AF came I thought DS2 was teething at first because my nips hurt so bad.

    I guess maybe teeth, although I don't feel anything on her gums. I've had AF back since August and haven't noticed any differences in soreness at any specific time of the month.

    My nipples did get irritated by his teeth scraping in a certain way. I actually nursed sidelying and upside down for a while until the area cleared up.
    My TTC History:
    2009: missed miscarriage #1 at 9 weeks (trisomy 16)
    2010: Infertility
    2011: Diagnosis and treatment (low sperm count, anastrozole for DH, clomid for me + IUI)
    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
    October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

    No, AF just left 2 days ago thank goodness! I have been making her relatch - I'll keep at it.

    Thanks for the replies!  DD had her 15 month well check yesterday and when the pedi looked in her mouth, she was like "oh there's some molars back there trying to get through!"  I'm hopeful that she'll go back to normal once they pop out :)
