Having serious flashbacks

I am fostering a pregnant cat from my local shelter, and the poor thing has had a rough go of it. I won't get into the gnarly details, but this hasn't been fun for any of us. Just recently things have been looking up and I let her come and snuggle with me on the couch (not allowed previously due to complications involving poop) and this is what I saw as I went to get up just now. I don't know exactly when she's due but I'm having flashback to when DD was more than a week overdue and I was finding the most random ways to sleep to feel some sort of comfort while pleading with her to JUST GET OUT ALREADY! I feel that's her sentiment in this picture. On the upside though, through all of the rough stuff, feeling the kittens roll and kick in there is pretty cool. Almost makes me miss those days...almost.
